Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about tracking your parcels with CargoTraces.

How do I track my parcel?

Enter your tracking number in the box on the home page and press Track. You'll instantly see your parcel's current stage, location and estimated delivery date.

Where do I find my tracking code?

Your tracking code is sent to you by email once your order has been prepared. Just enter that code in the box on the home page and press Track.

I entered my code but it says “not found” — why?

The code may not have been typed exactly as it appears in your email (for example a 0 confused with an O, or an extra space). Copy the code straight from your email and try again.

How long will my parcel take to arrive?

It depends on the carrier and the destination. We show an estimated date for the journey up to customs; the final delivery after customs is handled by the local carrier in the destination country, and that time depends on them.

Why has my tracking stayed at the same stage for days?

This is normal. Each stage takes a few days, and during international transit especially the status stays the same for a while as your parcel covers a long distance. It doesn't mean anything is wrong.

Which part of the journey does CargoTraces cover?

We cover the international journey: pickup, international transit, and arrival at customs in the destination country. Final delivery is handled by the local carrier.

Why is there no “delivered” stage?

CargoTraces follows the international journey up to customs. Because the final leg is handled by the local carrier, the last “delivered” step isn't shown here.

Will I get an email as my parcel progresses?

Yes. You're notified by email each time your parcel moves to a new stage (received, departed, in transit, arrived and customs).

Why are my name and address shown with asterisks?

Your name and address are shown only partly — for example “A*** Y***” — and only the city stays visible. This masking protects your privacy: the full details are hidden and never reach your browser.

How many languages does the site support?

The site is available in 30 languages and automatically follows the language you select.
